Senior High Youth Group

Impact TC is the youth group here at SBF.  It is led by Andy and Cindy Rice.  The name comes from the desire to Impact others through Christ.  Our logo represents that desire, and each letter is part of our mission.

I Timothy 4:12 is the verse that we have chosen to represent our goals.  "Don't let anyone look down on you because of your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity."

We have many events throughout the year that include an annual bonfire/overnight; attending "Acquire the Fire", a major youth conference downtown each year; collecting for the local food bank; a winter retreat; sledding; and making Easter baskets for the food bank as well.

Each summer we go on a week-long retreat.  We have attended other youth camps in Colorado, Tennessee, and Michigan, as well as staying in town for 2 separate years to serve here.  We love to find unique ways to serve others in our community and church.

Many of our teens are involved in other ministries in the church, such as nursery, children's church, and worship team; as well as being a part of a one-on-one mentorship program with other adults in the church.  We meet every Wednesday night at the church from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.  We play, worship, study God's Word, eat, and sometimes do crafty things.  Anyone in grades 9-12 is welcome.
